QGC Mentoring Program - Successful career development for PhD students

The QGC Mentoring Program offers doctoral students targeted support on their way to a successful career. With a clear focus on the development of non-scientific skills, the program helps to successfully shape professional prospects after graduation and to prepare for the demands of the job market. The program was created to support doctoral students with a comprehensive, career-oriented offering. The goal is not only to deepen their professional expertise, but also to strengthen their personal development and prepare them for the transition to the working world. Through a wide range of services – from skills profiling to individual coaching and intensive mentoring – the QGC Mentoring Program supports participants in clearly defining and successfully implementing their professional goals. The first cohort of the program started in November 2024. After the first two meetings, participants are enthusiastic and excited about the upcoming content and perspectives. The second cohort is planned for January 2025, allowing more PhD students to benefit from this practical career development opportunity.
